Auditions extended for play
Friends of the Arts is still looking for community talent for their upcoming production of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, and if you love comedy, this is definitely the show for you! Several roles for both men and women, most for ages 20-something through 30-something but one even in the 60-plus range, are still available. The next audition will be held this Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Marianas High School Drama Studio, Building D, Rm. 101.
This show has proved to be a huge hit with U.S. mainland audiences and is sure to provide a rollicking good time for theatergoers on Saipan as well. An audience interactive production, Tony n’ Tina’s opens with the cast of humorous characters assembling for the wedding, after which all shift to the reception hall where additional comedy unfolds. If you have been through the ups and downs of trying to carry out a successful wedding in spite of the diverse agenda of well-meaning families and friends—or if you enjoyed My Big Fat Greek Wedding—you’re bound to laugh your way through Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding!
