The Aqua Resort Club launched Wednesday its newest marketing strategy, Coffee On Us, serving coffee and snack delights during a courtesy call at the Governor’s Office on Capitol Hill.

ARC supervisors Rom Manzon and Peter De Layola said that going to the offices of their clients is part of “making ourselves felt and letting them know that our services continue without interruption.”

“This is like a sales call. We visit our clients and do some catering to them,” said De Layola.

During Wednesday’s courtesy call at the Governor’s Office, the ARC management and staff met with Lt. Gov. Diego T. Benavente, and other ranking officials.

“We served them coffee, pastries as a way to say thank you for patronizing us,” said De Layola.

He said ARC, which begins a major renovation this month, would continue to offer its regular services during the construction period. They said the construction would be done phase by phase so as not to disturb operations.

“It’s total facelift but it will done area by area,” he said.

The ARC team is headed by acting general manager and F&B director Ramoncito Cabrera, who joined the hotel in July 2004 following the hotel’s acquisition by Ken Corp. of Tokyo.

Others present in yesterday’s Coffee on Us promotion were Cabrera, owner representative Ken Yanagizawa, room division manager Hiroki Sogie, sales manager Yoshimi Kodama, and assistant F&B director Manny Barcial.

The ARC team was expected to visit the Legislature yesterday.
