PIC cites outstanding employees of the year
Pacific Islands Club Saipan recently recognized its outstanding employees, who were conferred yearly awards.
Mieko Motoyoshi was honored with the Employee of the Year 2004 award for her consistently above and beyond contributions to the team. Mieko has been with PIC for a little more than a year and can be seen on a daily basis interacting with guests in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
“Employees such as [Motoyoshi-san] are what sets PIC apart and allows us to offer extraordinary service to our guests,” shares JoJo Cramer, PIC’s training manager.
Motoyoshi works in the S.E.A. department and her constant cheer and PIC Smile do not go unnoticed by guests and employees alike. She goes beyond expectations to ensure that the guests are having a safe, fun and memorable experience. In addition, Motoyoshi is an exceptional athlete and regularly participates in community events such as triathlons and ocean swims. She can be depended on to represent PIC with pride and a brilliant spirit.
PIC wishes Motoyoshi a genuine “congratulations” and once thanks her for her continuing and valuable contributions to the PIC team.
PIC also recognized Bonnie Guevarra as the 2004 Supervisor of the Year. Guevarra has been with PIC for over 14 years and dedicates himself as an outstanding supervisor in the Engineering Department. Guevarra is well qualified in his position and works alongside his team to ensure the buildings and property is kept safe, secure and in exceptional working order day in and day out. Guevarra has been recognized as Supervisor of the Quarter on multiple occasions over the years and his success as a supervisor can be attributed to his diligence in completing projects as well as his dependability as a leader for the Engineering team. In addition, Guevarra regularly attends and positively contributes to PIC sponsored events such as Beach Cleanups and other community activities.
PIC thanks Guevarra for his long and loyal service to PIC and all that he contributes on a day-to-day basis to ensure both employees and guests can enjoy beautiful, safe property.
Satomi Kazurayama is honored as PIC’s Manager of the Year 2004. Kazurayama-san has been with Pacific Islands Club Saipan for almost nine years and manages the Guest Relations Department with competence, knowledge and care. Kazurayama-san initially joined PIC as a Guest Relations Agent and also taught Japanese Language courses to PIC employees. She quickly moved up the ladder to her current position with her unwavering dedication to ensuring the guests’ satisfaction. She is an exemplary role model with the employees and never hesitates to jump in and help out the team. Kazurayama-san strongly supports the PIC team by actively participating and coordinating events and activities such as employee parties, bowling nights, beach cleanups and community events. Kazurayama-san consistently contributes excellence and her valuable contributions help to make PIC the success that it is!
