Power outage on feeder 2

There will be a power outage tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 29, on Feeder 2 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s Power Division said this outage is needed to remove and install a new 45’ power pole. This interruption is necessary to allow CUC lineman to work on de-energized power lines safely.

This outage will affect the following areas: Garapan Fishing Basin, Kristo Rai, Horiguchi Building, Century Building, China House, National Office Supply, Star Water, Megabyte, Triple J, Monica’s Gallery, BJ’s Restaurant, Char’s Store, Oleai Center (including First Hawaiian Bank and FHP), Joeten Motor’s, J’s Bowling Center, and MVA office (all customers between these areas will be affected).

The San Jose traffic light will also be affected.

CUC requests the cooperation and patience of people driving and residing in these areas while the work is completed.
