The 2004 Government Basketball League resumes play this evening with league-leader Public School System taking on defending champion Northern Marianas College in the 6:30pm first game.

The second game scheduled at 8pm then features a match-up between Procurement & Supply and Department of Public Safety II.

PSS is currently lording it over the roost with an impeccable 7-0 win-loss card. Department of Labor is second in the pecking order at 6-1, with its lone loss inflicted by the powerhouse PSS team.

DPS I and Department of Community and Cultural Affairs are tied at third place with identical 6-2 marks, followed by Commonwealth Health Center and NMC, which both sport 4-4 slates.

P&S is just half a game behind CHC and NMC at 3-4. Commonwealth Ports Authority and Tinian share the same predicament as P&S, also needing a win to go up to .500.

DPS II (1-5) and Office of Public Auditor (1-7) currently have only a lone victory etched on their record but Saipan Mayor’s Office is in even direr straights, still looking for win No. 1 after six contests.
