EMO announces live fire and simulated weapons training
The Emergency Management Office has announced to the public that the U.S. Military unit will conduct Live Fire and Simulated Weapons Training exercise on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla.
Live Wire sessions will be held on Dec. 28, 2004 from 3pm to 9pm and the Simulated Weapons Training is on Dec. 30 from 3pm to9 pm. This session will not include live firing.
The live fire and simulated training exercises will take place on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla Training Area (R7201) from a 15,000 feet mean sea level on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants.
The office reminds the public that the activity may inflict danger thus tour operators, commercial pilots and fishermen are firmly advised to stay away from this location during the time and date specified.
