LTGA ACE OF ACES TOURNAMENT TODAY
The Tano Luta Golf Association will be having their annual Ace of Aces Tournament this morning at the Rota Resort and Country Club.
TLGA is inviting all interested golfers to participate. Tournament fee is $40. Showtime is set at 8:30am and tee time is 30 minutes later at 9am.

DECEMBER KING OF THE LANES ON DEC. 26 AND 27
The Saipan Bowling Association will hold its final monthly Pepsi King of the Lanes Tenpin Bowling Tournament of the year in the two days following Christmas, Dec. 26, and Dec. 27, at the Capitol Bowling Center.
SBA officer and tournament director Ross Zapanta said that Sunday’s roll-off would begin as early as 4pm, while Monday’s competition starts at 6pm. Awarding ceremonies immediately follow the end of competition on Monday.

DCCA LAUNCHES CHRISTMAS HOOPS TOURNEY
The Department of Community and Cultural Affairs announced they would host the 2004 Christmas Basketball Tournament from Monday, Dec. 27 through Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
The basketball tournament is open to 14-and-under basketball teams. The DCCA said the Top 3 finishers of the eight-team tournament would get trophies and possibly cash prizes.
Coaches and managers are requested to submit their rosters and entry fees as soon as possible.Teams will be limited to a maximum of 15 players.
The cost to register a team for the first ever event is $50, and the first eight teams to pay are guaranteed slots to the tourney.

NMI CRIME STOPPERS SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL NEXT MONTH
The 3rd Annual NMI Crime Stoppers Slow Pitch Softball Tournament will run through January 7, 8,and 9 at the Oleai Sports Complex softball field.
The champion of the three-day softball event pockets $300, while second place and third place takes home $200 and $150, respectively.
Aside from the regular softball competition, the tournament will also host two categories of homerun derbies.
Entry cost per team is $250, and the cost to enter the homerun derbies is $20 per individual. All checks should be made out to NMI Crime Stoppers.
