Best fun run ever

Congratulations to the Saipan Swim Team and Marianas Visitors Authority for putting on the best fun run I’ve ever done last Wednesday. Everyone had a good time and the swimmers who decorated the beach shelters were very creative. The event really was an excellent kick off for the holiday season. Even during the downpour before the race began, Betty, Katharine, Linda and other volunteers kept the crowd in a festive mood as they checked people in and put numbers on their arms. Coach Stuart did a great job organizing the event and it was fun to see Santa there to start the race. After the runners, walkers and even kids on tricycles crossed the decorated finish line, they were treated to refreshments on the deck at AJ’s Restaurant. It was a very nice family event. Please do it again next year. I also want to thank Pat for giving me and others a ride back to the starting point so we could get our cars. The holiday spirit is alive and well on Saipan.
