Chamber has new coordinator

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce welcomes Francine Camacho as its new Chamber coordinator, replacing Scott West.
The Chamber said that West “graciously stepped in on the spur of the moment back in September, and stayed around long enough to train [Camacho].” Scott will be moving to the mainland in January.
Camacho received her associate degree from the Northern Marianas College last spring. While in school she worked in the NMC’s Cooperative Research, Extension and Education Service.
The Chamber is urging its members to drop by its office to meet Camacho. Her email is chamber.coordinator@saipan.com.
The Chamber recently participated in a videotaped DVD that will be sent to all CNMI military personnel as part of the upcoming Troop Fest. Filming was done last Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, and included its president, Alex Sablan, members Jack Hardy of Images Saipan, Dr. Susan Fishman of Paradise Island Chiropractic, and Kathryn Barry of Coca-Cola Beverage Co.
The annual Installation dinner for Chamber’s new board directors is set for January 15, 2005.
