The U.S. military would be conducting live fire training exercise on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla on Dec. 26-27, and is warning the public to stay away from the area on these dates.

The Emergency Management Office said the general location of this activity will be on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla Training Area (R7201) from 15,000 feet mean sea level (MSL) on a ten (10) nautical mile radius on all quadrants.

The training exercises would occur from 6am to 12 noon.

“Due to the danger imposed by this activity, the general public especially tour operators, commercial pilots and fishermen are strongly advised to stay away from this location during the time and date indicated,” the EMO said in a statement.
