KAGES PTA MEETING TODAY
Kagman Elementary School would like to inform all parents and legal guardians that there will be a PTA meeting today, Dec. 15, 2004, at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria. All parents and legal guardians are encouraged to attend. Your presence is greatly appreciated.
SINAPALO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA MEETING TODAY
The Sinapalo Elementary School’s monthly PTA meeting will be held today, Dec. 15, 2004, at the school cafeteria at 5:30pm. Parents and guardians of Sinapalo Elementary School students are invited to attend.
The school will be holding their annual Christmas pageant—“Celebrate the Island Spirit of Christmas”—on Dec. 22, 2004. Everyone is invited to attend this special event at the Sinapalo Elementary School grounds at 4:45pm. Food and drinks will be sold at this event.
Parents and guardians of students attending the school are also invited to attend the 2nd Quarter Parent Teacher Conference on Jan. 12, 2004 at 4:30-6:30 pm. Parents can meet the teachers to discuss their child’s progress over the quarter.
DANDAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS RUMMAGE SALE
The Dandan Elementary School will be holding a Christmas Rummage Sale at the school on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004 from 8am to 12 noon. Tables will be rented to interested vendors. Contact the school at 664-5025 for more information or to reserve space.

Thursday, Dec. 16: PTSA meeting at 6pm at HJHS cafeteria
Friday, Dec. 17: School is half day. Students will be released at 11:30am.
Wednesday, Dec. 22: Last day of school before Christmas break. School resumes Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005.
DES PTA MEETING TOMORROW
The Dandan Elementary School will be having its PTA meeting tomorrow, Dec. 16, 2004, at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria.
DES principal Jonas Barcinas said the presence of parents and guardians at the meeting “will very much appreciated.”
DEADLINE FOR EAP SCHOLARSHIP TODAY
The Educational Assistance Program Winter/Spring 2005 deadline is today, Dec. 15, 2004.
EAP is for those who have completed their high school requirement and desires to pursue a postsecondary education (certificate to bachelor’s degree).
EAP provides funding to assist defray educational cost for eligible individuals for the following program:
* on-island/offisland enrolled at an accredited institution as a fulltime status;
* on-island fulltime employee who desires to pursue a postsecondary education on a part-time status;
* on-island students taking courses online which are not offered at Northern Marianas College.
Upon availability of funds, EAP offers financial assistance for the following programs: Graduate, Juris Doctor or Doctor of Medicine.
Application must be received or postmarked no later than Dec. 15, 2004. If you have submitted an application for Fall 2004, the application is still valid.
