NMBA president lauded for efforts while in post

Northern Marianas Bartenders Association president Joselito C. Espino was recently lauded by Ken Aqua Hotel and Resort Inc. for his voluntary service provided to the association.
Espino, an employee of Aqua Resort Club Saipan, received a plaque of recognition during the hotel’s Christmas party last Dec. 5.
Espino has occupied the leadership position of the association since Aug. 16, 2001, and, along other members, has managed to host various bartender competitions intended to boost the tourism industry in the Commonwealth as well as provide venues for bartenders on island to take center stage and showcase their skills.
Espino and the NMBA also hosted various seminars where bartenders were able to attain vital information about various products.
“On behalf of our management and staff, we will forever be grateful for your unending contributions to our local community, the CNMI tourism industry, and that of Ken Aqua Hotel and Resort Inc.” a part of the plaque read. “Your active involvement in both on and off duty, and giving of your spare time for a cause that benefits all demonstrates a positive example for others to mirror upon and emulate.”
