Rota workshops on noni, da’ok

How can CNMI farmers export high-value products to the world market? Find out how by attending two workshops conducted by Edgar Cocker, MBA at the Rota Campus of Northern Marianas College from 8:30am to 3pm.

On Tuesday, Dec. 7, you will learn how to make capsules and herbal tea from noni leaves. On Thursday, Dec. 9, Cocker will teach the science and processing of edible and essential oils. The focus will be on oils from the indigenous da’ok tree, coconuts and used cooking oil. Later that day you will learn how to barcode your products for efficient export to the world.
