Verizon starts off holidays with after-hours sale today

Verizon will be having its second After-Hours Sale today, Nov. 26, from 6pm to 9pm, at the Chalan Laulau customer service center in Middle Road. This is the place where you want to be if you are looking for great deals and free gifts.

For interested prepaid cellular users, the Kyocera 2235 and the Modotel will be on sale for an unbeatable $59.99. These packages include a $10 calling card, a car charger, and a leather case.

“Accessories will be provided while supplies last so be sure to be there early to avail of these great deals,” Verizon said in a statement.

For those who are tired of their existing cell phones and would like to trade them for new units, they can bring in their cell phone with the wall charger and replace it with either the Kyocera 2235 or the Modotel for only $49.99. A $20 prepaid card will also be included with this package deal.

“Your phone does not have to be in working condition to avail of this reduced rate. Just bring your unit in and Verizon will offer you a phone that is right for you,” the company said.

Unlike the rest of the deals happening during the event, the popular Kyocera Slider cell phone will be on sale throughout the day for only $145.95, beginning at 8am until 5pm. The special rate for the Kyocera Slider will resume during the after-hours sale so customers can drop by to get a phone during the promotional event if they do not have time to come in during regular working hours. Some conditions apply for this phone unit.

Although this is not a camera phone, this dual-band CDMA phone is Kyocera’s first model with a sliding form feature. It also has a 65,000-color display, has voice dialing capabilities, and has a speaker-phone.

Anyone who buys a cell phone will receive a free gift during the evening. In addition, they will also have a chance to win a $100 prepaid cellular calling card through Verizon’s putt for minutes game.
