Flush It! continues unbeaten streak

The hits just keep coming for the undefeated Flush It! squad as they sent the Bill Bratzski’s swirling around the bowl to improve their record to 6-0 atop the standings in the 6th Annual Miller 4-Person Beach Volleyball League.

Only Flush It! and Bend It Like Megan have managed to escape unscathed on the beach volleyball court at the Pacific Islands Club, and they have done so by winning the games that they are supposed to. A good Flush It! takes care of any teams floating around, and that’s just what they did to the Bill Bratzski’s on Thursday night.

While the spirit of Halloween was in the air, Flush It! fittingly sent the Brazski’s home with a broom, sweeping the old so-and-so’s 11-3, 11-4, and 11-5.

The Bill Bratzski’s will have some time to wallow in their sorrow, as they next see action on Thursday, Nov. 11, while Flush It! returns tomorrow night tonight to take on the MHS Dolphins at 6pm.

Those same Dolphins got the night started with a match against the anti-good Machigainai!. Having recorded 246 points, the Dolphins lead the league in scoring, while the winless wonders have a strangle hold on the lead for most points allowed with 225. This game had ugly written all over it.

The Dolphins took the first set with ease, 11-5. They could have won the second set with three players, but they used four to win 11-3. In the third and final set, the underwater under-aged overachievers finished the tutorial by allowing Machgainai! to score six points before hammering home 11.

Machigainai! continues their path to winless perfection tomorrow when they try to smack the Clam Smackers at 8pm, while the 6-2 Dolphins are back in action in the 6pm match with undefeated Flush It!

In the 7pm game, the Sleezy Lambleezies also continued their wining ways, as they gave Team Papalatung the straight truth—“We’re better than you!” The SL Express cruised to a three set victory with a combined score of 33-12 to improve their record to 5-1.

Team Papalatung fell to 0-7, but at least they have the comfort of knowing that they don’t stink the joint up as bad as Machigainai!—close, but not that bad.

The TPs return to the sand on Tuesday, Nov. 9, to face the Dolphins at 6pm, while Lambleezies are at it again this Thursday, Nov. 4, in the late game at 9pm when they look to de-shell the Clam Smackers.

The lowest scoring team in the league had a chance to catch the Clam Smackers in the standings, but Esemuoel failed to ese-win for the fifth time in five attempts. Since being kicked to the curb by the Clams, they have been taken to the O-ferville hospital, where doctors expect them to make a complete recovery.

The Clams were smacking from the start, as they opened up the first set with an 11-1 whooping. The second set wasn’t much better for Esemuoel, as they too another one on the chin, 11-6. Esemuoel went Apu-style in the third set and dropped a purple 7-11 squishy to the Clams.

The Clams improved to 2-4, and they look to make it 3-4 after they meet with Machigainai! tomorrow at 8pm, while Esemuoel tries not to sink to 0-6 when they face the Dragon Flares tomorrow at 7pm.

All the side-outs you can handle will be doled out again tomorrow night at the PIC. If you would like further information about the 6th Annual Miller 4-Person Beach Volleyball League, contact Jon, Evan, Dennis, or Nan by calling the SEA office at 235-6231 ext. 5147.
