SML games postponed again
It would appear that Mother Nature has other plans for her Sundays, and they don’t include a double-header from the fall edition of the Saipan Major League teams.
After both of last weekend’s games were scrubbed due to the weather, they were rescheduled to be played yesterday at Francisco M. Palacios baseball field in Oleai, but now the games between the North Stars and Hustlers, followed by the match up of Kautz Glass Glazers and the Pirates has to be rescheduled again due to poor field conditions.
In a related story, the there will be a meeting tomorrow in the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium for the prospective members of the CNMI All-Star baseball team for the SPG Mini-Games.
According to Tony Rogolifoi, organizing officials and the team will discuss fund raising ideas for the $10,000 payment that must be made to NMASA no later than Thursday, Dec. 2. The names of the players will not be released, but he will individually contact the hardballers to inform them that they have made the team.
