The Council for Native Hawaiian Affairs is offering free workshops that walk applicants through the process of obtaining grants from the Administration for Native Americans.

The workshops are geared toward nonprofit groups and public agencies serving Native Hawaiians. The Administration for Native Americans is a program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. It funds social and economic development as well as language preservation projects that promote self-sufficiency in native communities. Its grants range from $25,000 to $500,000.

Workshops will be held in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam and Saipan. For more information, contact Blythe Nett, project coordinator, at info@anapacific.org or (800) 709-2642. More information is also available at www.anapacific.org.
