Have some break on weekends. Try something new and special—at Hyatt’s Kili Café & Terrace.

Mindful of customers’ weekend lifestyle, Kili has introduced its Saturday Lunch Special—a semi-buffet meal package at a reduced price.

Semi-buffet special means customers can indulge themselves in appetizing seafood salad and mouth-watering desserts—buffet style—plus a choice of main course a-la carte.

“We changed our lunch concept from full buffet to semi-buffet on Saturdays. Saturday is always a family day. They go out and relax. And some of them are may be sick and tired of having full meals on weekdays that they would rather come to a place and have a light lunch – for a change. So that’s why we came up with this,” said Hyatt Regency Saipan Food and Beverage Director Sam Cheng in an interview.

Some people, he said, have found weekend buffet “good” but would comment that “it’s just so much food.”

“What we do now is to give them a choice of what food to eat for lunch and serve it to them fresh, straight from the oven so to speak,” he added.

On Saturdays, Kili’s special lunch main course selection includes Mexican Pork Adobo, Indonesian Beef Goulash, Chinese Steamed Fish Mahi Mahi, Australian Lamb Chop with Mint Sauce, Indian Chicken Makhani with Chapati or French Seafood Thermidor.

All are served with sautéed vegetables and a choice of rice or mashed potatoes.

The Saturday special is made available at a special price of $17 per person, instead of the regular price of $21.

Club at the Hyatt members who bring a friend will only pay $8.50.

Children 5 years old to 12 get a 50 percent discount.

F&B Assistant Director Daryl Thong said birthday celebrants receive “something more.”

“If they come into the restaurant in a group of six people, the celebrant will dine for free and a discount of 20 percent with five others will apply if one of them is Club at the Hyatt member,” said Thong.

Kili Café & Terrace manager Shekhar Das said what is best with the Saturday lunch is that people get to eat their food really fresh.

“It’s prepared as they come. It’s specially made for them and most of all, it is served hot to their delight,” said Das.

He also noted that Kili’s kids’ corner is another attraction for customers who bring along their small children.

“It’s a place where children can eat their food and watch their favorite animated classics while their parents and guardians enjoy their own meals. We want to make it a wonderful and relaxing weekend treat for them,” said Das.

Kili’s Saturday lunch special began last Saturday.

“We invite people especially the families to come and feel at home at Kili,” said Das.

Kili Café & Terrace has been everybody’s favorite for its theme nights. On Mondays, we have seafood night; Tuesday is French night; Wednesday is Mexican; Thursday is Asian, Friday is Buds Brew & barbeque, Saturday is Chinese, and Sunday is International buffet night.

Located on the lobby floor of Hyatt Regency Saipan, Kili Cafe & Terrace combines the ambiance of an outdoor Parisian café and a casual dining atmosphere.

Kili Cafe & Terrace serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, in addition to an a la carte breakfast menu. An all-day, children’s and dessert menu are also available.
