SSHS REPORT CARD ISSUANCE TODAY
To all parents and guardians of students attending Saipan Southern High School: There will be a report card issuance today, Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 4pm to 7pm. All parents and guardians can pick up the report card in the cafeteria.
SPED ADVISORY PANEL MEETING
The CNMI Public School System Special Education Program will be conducting a Special Education State Advisory Panel meeting on Nov. 12, 8am to 2pm, at the Pacific Islands Club’s Napu Room.
The meeting is open to the public. The agenda for this meeting will be passed out at the meeting.
KAGMAN HIGH REPORT CARD DAY, PTSA MEETING TOMORROW
This is to inform all parent/legal guardians of Kagman High School students that Report Card distribution and PTSA meeting will be held tomorrow, Oct. 21, from 5pm to 7pm. We encourage all of you to come in and pick up your child/children’s report card and also, to attend the PTSA meeting.
CHACHA REPORT CARD DAY, OPEN HOUSE
This is to inform all parents, guardians, and the community that the Chacha Oceanview Jr. High School will be issuing first quarter report cards and having an open house on Friday, Oct. 22, between the hours of 3:30pm-5:30pm.

OLEAI ELEMENTARY’S OCTOBER SCHEDULE
Oct. 21—Half-day class session and 1st quarter report cards distribution. Students will be released at 12:30p.m. 1st Quarter Report Cards Distribution & Parents/Teachers Conference will take place at OES campus from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The students 1st quarter academic projects and experiments and other class work will be exhibited in the school cafeteria.
Oct. 22, 2004: Halloween Dance at the OES campus from 6pm to 8pm. Entry fee is $0.75 cents with costume and $1 without costume.
Oct. 29: STUCO Club Halloween Candy Gram Sale and Annual Domestic Violence Candle Light Vigil. The prices for the Candy Gram Sale orders range from .50, $1 to $3. The Annual Domestic Violence Candle Light Vigil will be from 5pm to 8pm. It will start at Micro Beach Pavilion to Paseo De Marianas, Garapan Street Market area.
Poster-making and essay-writing contest launched
The Family Violence Task Force, along with the Domestic Violence Awareness Month Committee, is sponsoring a poster making and essay writing contest for 7th to 12th grade students of private schools.
Essay must be between 300 to 1,000 words. Posters must be on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper. Entries must illustrate/depict the theme, “ENOUGH! Domestic Violence R.I.P.”
Entries must be submitted by Oct. 15 at 3pm to the school official designated at the student’s school or to the submission box at Karidat in Chalan Kanoa.
When submitting your essay paper, make sure your name, grade and school is placed on a cover page and attached to your paper. When submitting your poster, make sure your name, grade and school is placed on the back of the drawing or on a separate cover sheet stapled to your entry.
Prizes for the winning entries will be awarded on Friday, Oct. 29, during the Candlelight Vigil Ceremony at the Paseo de Marianas, in Garapan.
