The organizing officials of the Island Wide Volleyball League are inviting anyone who is interested in coaching youth volleyball to attend a meeting tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 15, 6pm at the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium to discuss a variety of issues pertaining to the upcoming league.

League coordinators Joe Mettao and Joe Lizama will serve up a list of the rules, answer questions, and plan the schedule for all of the bumps, sets, and spikes that will soon be on the way.

While the slate of games has not yet been completed, the start of the Island Wide season is just around the corner, as the schedule for the Ada Gym will be freed up with the basketball leagues finishing their seasons.

“We are just waiting for the Rotary and the UFO leagues to wrap up. That’s when we’re looking to start,” said Mettao.

For more information regarding the Island Wide Volleyball League, make your way down to the meeting tomorrow evening, or contact Mettao or Lizama by calling 664-2508/3. (Brad E. Ruszala)
