I would like to give my utmost appreciation to Mr. Larry Lee of the NMC Business Department and Mrs. Doris Aldan-Atalig of the Office of Admissions Records for the prompt response in transmitting relative documents to the University of Hawaii School of Accountancy so as to ensure the conversion of credits from NMC’s Accounting 220 course as equivalent to UH’s Accounting 201. UH only gave me five days to produce such documents or it will result in my removal from the second-level course until I re-take the pre-requisite. Immediately, I contacted NMC’s Admissions Records to inform them of my situation. Within a 24-hour timeframe, Mr. Larry Lee immediately sent the documents via email to the UH Accounting Director and a copy to my address. Subsequently, the School of Accountancy informed me today that my petition to convert the course credits was granted. Thus, I do not have to re-take any pre-requisites and shall cause no delay in pursuing my bachelor’s degree. Therefore, I would like to commend Mr. Lee and Mrs. Aldan-Atalig for their quick response in ensuring that transfer students from NMC are well taken cared of. You are fine examples of professionals in the workplace and NMC should take pride in the services you render to the institution. Si Yu’us Ma’ase’ Mahalo!
