Another week of action in the National Football League has produced another week of excitement, as fans all across the country are knee deep in tailgating parties, office pools, and fantasy leagues.

As our local prognosticators demonstrated, picking most of the games on last week’s docket was a little easier given several mismatches and injuries. One team that has fans from all over scratching their heads is the Kansas City Chiefs. They have been picked to win every game so far this season, but they now appear to be heading toward a very likely 0-7 start.

There are plenty of questions remaining as Week 4 draws near, such as: Is Jacksonville really as good as their record? Does Drew Bledsoe still have what it takes to play in the NFL? Will Jay Fiedler bring the Dolphins back to respectable? And what were the 49ers thinking when the let both T.O and Jeff Garcia go?

While the answers my not be clear to everyone, William Hunter, John Blanco, Richard Brooks, Jennifer Lee, and Jimmy “Big Tuna” Sablan are back to try their hands at another round of pigskin prognostication.

Last week, Will was the man of the hour with a near flawless round of 12-2. He still trails Jennifer for the lead in the season long pick-off, as the star from Week 2 tied the Big Tuna at 11-3, for an overall total 22-8.The Tuna is tied for third overall with John at 19-11, and Blanco is still in the hunt, managing a 10-4 record last week. With a strangle hold on last place is “Big Daddy” Rich at 13-17, but there is still a lot of season left, and plenty of difficult games from which to chose. While Brooks was able to stay afloat last week at 7-7, he is going to need a little divine intervention if continues to pick Tampa Bay over Oakland.
