The Attorney General’s Office yesterday filed theft charges against three men and a teenager in two separate cases at the Superior Court.

In one of the cases, CNMI chief prosecutor David Hutton filed criminal charges against 28-year-old George Miller.

Hutton alleged that Miller broke into the occupied Chalan Kanoa structure of one Jin Hua Cui last Aug. 5. Miller allegedly took valuables that include a branded wristwatch, jewelry and cash. Hutton charged Miller with a count each of burglary and theft.

In a separate case, the AGO charged three persons with burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit burglary and theft.

Hutton identified the defendants as Danny Sachuo, 28; and Alafonso A. Oncho, 21. The third defendant is a 17-year-old male.

The prosecutor alleged that the three conspired to burglarize the place of Pio Osma Escalante on Saipan last Sept. 21. He said the three stole appliances from Escalante. (John Ravelo)
