The Department of Public Healths’s Community Guidance Center announces the start of “Project Alibiu”—a program set up to provide free outreach and education services for individuals affected by the recent Supertyphoon Chaba on the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

The program is funded through a grant award from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and will run for about six weeks.

Trained outreach workers will be going out in the community to discuss information on disaster related stress and to offer additional support services or referrals. Community members are encouraged to meet with outreach workers or to contact their offices.

The Saipan office is located on the 2nd floor, Room B-1, of the JTV building in As Lito. Call 288-5002 for more information. The Tinian office is located next to the Bureau of Environmental Health Services, with telephone number 433-6501. The Rota office is located at the Man Amko Center, with telephone number 532-6502.
