The Honorable William S. Sessions, Attorney and Counselor at Law, a former U.S. District Court Judge and former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has recommended and invited our daughter Shequita to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law in Washington, D.C. Shequita’s invitation to this prestigious Forum will be a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience in the field of Law. The Forum will take place on October 19 through 24.
Because of her academic achievements, Leadership Abilities and dedication to the profession of Law, Shequita was recognized through her participation in the Student Search Service sponsored by the College Board and the National Research Center for College and University Admissions’ Talent Identification Program.
We would like to thank the office of our Washington Representative for sponsoring and supporting the tuition requirement of the Forum as well as various agencies and individuals who have supported our efforts in raising funds for our daughter’s expense.
Lastly, we would like to invite and seek the support from the public to our Fundraising Dinner Show, to be held this Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 at the Sunset Bar & Grill, Pacific Gardenia starting promptly at 6:30pm. Tickets are available for $20 and could be purchased at the door.
