NMITFF ALL SCHOOLS FALL RELAY DAY

The Northern Marianas Track and Field Federation announced that its first All Schools Fall Island would unfold this morning, Sept. 18.

The event begins at 6:30am, with check-in at 6am. Schools may form teams for divisions in the 9-and-under, 11-and-under-14-and-under, and 18-and-under age groups.

IRBL RESUMES WEDNESDAY

The semifinals of the 2004 Inter-Restaurant Basketball League gets underway on Sept. 22. The first game will have pennant champion Capricciosa battling powerhouse Jollibee at 11pm at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym. On Friday, Sept. 23, elimination round runner-up Angel Wings will battle host Country House for the second finals seat also at 11pm.

HYATT GOLF CLASSIC SET FOR SEPT. 25

Hyatt Regency Saipan’s 9th Annual Club of the Hyatt Golf Classic will take place on Sept. 25 at the Kingfisher Golf Links.

Check in time for the tourney is between 6:30-7:25am, with shot gun at 7:30am.

A fee of $95 will be required for participants who are Club Elan and Club at the Hyatt members, while non-members will be charged $110. The fees must be submitted by Sept, 21.

The tournament features a 4-person scramble and hole-in-one prizes, among others.

This year’s Club of the Hyatt Golf Classic will also culminate with a fantastic banquet at the Hyatt poolside. Guests for the banquet who do not take part in the tournament will be charged $35.

RGA SEPTEMBER ACE TOMORROW

The September Ace of the Month Tournament of the Refalawasch Golf Association will take place tomorrow, Sept. 18, at the Kingfisher Golf Links.

The number to beat is the 6-under 66 net score carded by Alex Aquiquinoc during RGA’s September qualifier held last Sept. 4 at the Lao Lao Golf Resort west course. After being nipped in last month’s tournament, Aquiquinoc is more determined than ever to take home the monthly championship.

Check in time for tomorrow’s September Ace championship is 11am, while tee off is schedule an hour later at 12pm.

As always, the winner of the monthly ace tourney gets a slot in RGA’s yearend championship in December.
