Pacific Island Aviation has been recognized as Northwest Airline’s “Partner of the Month” in Northwest’s in-flight magazine, The World Traveler, bringing world recognition to the Northern Mariana Islands and Guam.

Saipan, Rota, and Tinian in the Northern Marianas and Guam were suggested destinations in the September issue of Northwest’s World Traveler Magazine.

“Escape to this tropical paradise and experience the spectacular scenery, magnificent beaches with clear turquoise waters… The magazine encourages its readers to enjoy the islands’ world-class golf courses, shopping, dinning varieties and lively nightlife.

The World Traveler Magazine is in every seat on every flight of Northwest Airlines; these complimentary words describing the Marianas are being circulated throughout Asia, American and to Europe this month.

The inviting portrait of the Marianas was in an article honoring Pacific Island Aviation Inc. as Northwest Airline’s “Partner of the Month.” Operating from Saipan as a U.S. Flag Carrier airline, PIA has been associated with NWA since 1995, first by way of a code-share agreement and later becoming a Northwest Airlink Partner. World Perks members can earn and redeem miles on all flights operated by Pacific Island Aviation. Through check-in is available to the traveler’s final destination.

For schedule information and reservations call (670) 234-3601 in the Northern Marianas, or (671) 647-3600 on Guam, or visit the Northwest Airlines internet site at www.nwa.com.
