8SMC-2RS-67: To pay tribute to the memory and in honor of the late Justino Arriola, Captain, Department of Public Safety, for his heroism in risking his own life in upholding the rule of Law to protect individuals, families, neighborhoods and properties against crimes in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) who was shot and killed on the line of duty on Sunday, February 14, 1982, Saipan.
8SMC-2RS-68: To pay tribute to the memory and in honor of the late Abraham Sablan Quitugua, Police Officer III, Department of Public Safety, for his heroism in risking his own life in upholding the rule of Law to protect individuals, families, neighborhoods and properties against crimes in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) who was shot and killed on the line of duty on Monday, November 28, 1983, Saipan.
8SMC-2RS-69: To pay tribute to the memory and in honor of the late Gilbert Manglona Taisacan, Police Officer, Department of Public Safety, for his heroism in risking his own life in upholding the rule of Law to protect individuals, families, neighborhoods and properties against crimes in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) who was shot and killed on the line of duty on Monday, August 21, 1995, Saipan.
8SMC-2RS-70: To recognize and convey our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Police Officer Antonio San Nicolas Borja for being injured and disabled on the line of duty on August 21, 1995.
8SMC-2RS-71: To recognize and convey our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Police Officer Jose Borja Cepeda for being injured and disabled on the line of duty on November 29, 1997.
8SMC-2RS-72: To recognize and convey our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Police Officer Marvin Sakisat Camacho for being injured and disabled on the line of duty on April 14, 1996.
8SMC-2RS-73: The Proclamation of the CNMI Police Officers Week in conjunction with the National Police Week scheduled for May 9-15, 2004 and May 15, 2004 as CNMI Peace Officers’ Memorial Day, is a time to recognize, congratulate and commend those Police Officers who are on active duty upholding the rule of law protecting and safeguarding our lives and properties against crimes; to remember those Police Officers who have passed away on natural causes; and to those Police Officers who have been injured and disabled on the line of duty; and to pay tribute to the memory and in honor of those Police Officers who have been shot and killed on the line of duty.
8SMC-2RS-74: To pay tribute to the memory and in honor of Army Sergeant Yinjyh “Eddie” Lang Chen for heroism in losing his own life to achieve the United States Armed Forces’ goal to secure peace, freedom and democracy for the people of Iraq.
