A matter of life or death

COVID-19 and the delta variant continue to surge. This is frightening news. I’d like to remind our congressional lawmakers this is not a Democrat/Republican conspiracy. This is not a religious conspiracy. We’re fighting a toxic pandemic so our congressional lawmakers must stop grandstanding (aka campaigning) and listen to science and the medical profession. Forget about parents making their children wear masks or not, get vaccinated or not. We as adults have rights to be sure, but that doesn’t give us the right to put people and youngsters at risk by not getting vaccinated and not wearing masks. This is a rare instance where science and the medical community are asking us to simply wear masks and get vaccinated, thereby protecting yourself and your neighbors from infection. Indeed, it really is a matter of life or death!
