Registration is now open for both individuals and teams at hell-of-themarianas.com. The early bird entry fee is $60 per person through Nov. 27, and a $25 late fee will apply to athletes who register from Nov. 28 through Dec. 2. Online registration also includes an optional $5 donation that will benefit Typhoon Soudelor relief efforts. Paper registration will soon be available at select Saipan locations. HOM has been described as the “toughest race in Micronesia,” and traverses a 100-kilometer course that includes nearly every major hill on the island. The course will start at the Marianas Resort & Spa entrance and travel south toward the former Palms Resort Saipan, before making a turnaround to travel north along Chalan Pale Arnold toward Suicide Cliff. After passing through Bird Island, the Grotto and the Marpi area, cyclists will continue south to Beach Road, toward Koblerville, then to the eastern portion of the island, eventually circling back to the finish line at the entrance of Marianas Resort & Spa.

HOM is presented by MVA, sponsored by the Northern Marianas Islands Cycling Federation, and the Marianas Resort & Spa and is a PIVOT LLC event production. For additional race information, visit hell-of-the-marianas.com. Interested sponsors and event volunteers may contact PIVOT at meet@pivot24.com. (PR)
