NMC fall registration set

The Northern Marianas College has announced that registration for Fall 2004 classes is now ongoing and will conclude with late registration on August 14. Registration requirements are for students to pick-up their financial and library clearance slips and their English and Math placement scores at the appropriate offices.

The registration schedule is as follows:

EARLY REGISTRATION: 9AM–4PM

Beginning July 12 Placement in EN 101

Beginning July 19 Ongoing students with at least 30+ credits

Beginning July 26 All ongoing students who registered in SP04.

July 29-30 Add/Drop

July 30 All pre and early registrants must be cleared and pay or make arrangements to pay by this date.

REGULAR REGISTRATION: 9AM–6PM

Aug. 2-6 Open Registration

Aug. 9-11 Open Registration

Aug. 9 GEPDAP – First day of GEPDAP registration

Must apply at least one week before this date.

Aug. 12-13 Add/Drop (Next Add/Drop during first week of instruction as usual).

LATE REGISTRATION:

Aug. 13 Late Registration: 9am–5pm

Aug. 14 Late Registration: 8am–noon

Students are to pick up a registration form from their advisor, be advised and registered in their respective departments, then obtain instructor’s signature for specific courses as required. Next, students will proceed to OAR for verification and printout of student schedule, to Financial Aid Office for verification of financial aid, and then to Finance Office for payment or sign payment plan for Fall 2004 courses.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Pre and early registrants must pay or make payment arrangements by July 30.

First day of instruction for Fall 2004 is August 16.

FINANCIAL AID

NMC students receiving financial aid are also reminded to visit the Financial Aid office to ensure that their documents are current and up-to-date. Failure to do so may result in lost of financial aid. The cut-off date for applying for PELL Grant for the Fall 2004 semester is June 1.
