The American Red Cross is informing victims of Typhoon Tingting that it will close its disaster relief outreach services at 5pm on Thursday.

“If you have been affected by this storm and still need emergency assistance but have not been visited by an outreach team or called the Red Cross, please do so as soon as possible,” the group said.

Individuals or families applying to the Red Cross for assistance must bring with them some form of identification showing their address as proof that they live in the area affected by the disaster.
