The Division of Environmental Quality Clean-up Brigade will be at it again, picking up trash at Sugar Dock to the Lally 4 Beach in Chalan Kanoa.

People who would like to volunteer their time to clean up and beautify the island can meet the DEQ representative in the bright green T-shirt on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 8am at Sugar Dock.

“Come join us and “Pick It Up”! The brigade cleans until 10am and breaks for drinks, then continues if needed,” the agency said in a statement.

This month, outstanding brigade members who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap and those who participated at least three times will receive a bright green brigade shirt.

“This is a cleanup that shouldn’t be missed. So join DEQ’s cleanup brigade and pick it up,” it added.
