If you want cutting edge insight you’ll want to attend this Safety and Health workshop for Small Business Owners workshop that is being offered during the 7th Annual June Small Business Development Month in the CNMI. The workshop includes discussion of the OSHA Act, general duty clause, inspections and citations and the appeals process. It includes an overview, danger to employees, sources of hazards and safety related work practices. The last two areas of discussion will be walking and working surfaces and tools and machine guarding. By attending this workshop you’ll gain a better understanding of the importance of safety and health in the workplace.

Alfred Johnson, who is the Director of Administrative Services at Northern Marianas College, will present the workshop. He holds numerous OSHA certifications and has taught over fifty related OSHA during the past ten years.

Johnson’s workshop will be held on Saipan from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, at the NMC SBDC Conference Room (Building T). Registration begins at 5:30pm. Space is limited so call Robert Suzuki at 235-1551 to reserve your seat.
