Free employee motivation workshop at NMC’s SBDC
CNMI businesses are still in the midst of difficult economic circumstances and while employees at all levels are striving to do their best, maintaining company morale certainly poses challenges. If your business is in this position and searching for innovative ways to motivate employees there is a solution.
Spice up your normal lunch routine and attend the mid-day “99 Ways to Motivate Employees” workshop that is being offered during the 7th Annual June Small Business Development Month in the CNMI. The workshop is one in a four part business series sponsored by the NMC Small Business Development Center and Commonwealth Development Authority.
The objectives of this entertaining workshop are: identify motivators that work, identify and reduce de-motivators that drain employee energy and morale, identify low cost rewards that give your employees meaningful recognition, and deal more effectively with problem employees.
The workshop specifics that will be covered include: motivation—what it is and how it works, what motivates each of us, how to recognize what motivates others, creating a motivating atmosphere at work, handling worker feedback and follow-up, effective communication skills needed for motivation, setting realistic and motivating workers goals, secrets for coaching and counseling workers, pitfalls of rewards, recognition and punishment, and the ABC’s of motivation—ideas that work.
