CPA’s Borja retires
After 19 years of dedication and loyalty to the Commonwealth Ports Authority, Winifreda V. Borja has decided to retire to spend more time with her children and grandchildren.
Borja retired from CPA as the Assistant Custodial Supervisor at the Saipan International Airport.
CPA executive director Carlos H. Salas, on behalf of the Board of Directors and management and staff of CPA, congratulated Borja during CPA’s managers’ meeting on Friday, May 28.
Salas praised Borja for her excellence and outstanding contributions to CPA, particularly for the Custodial Department.
Borja is credited for contributing to the great appearance and sanitary conditions of the airport facilities.
“The example of a diligent employee you have set here at the airport will live on forever and serve as a model to the employees,” said Salas.
Borja expressed sadness in leaving behind a family-like atmosphere at CPA and extended her appreciation to the past and present management, Board of Directors, and employees for their support, cooperation and good company since she was hired in 1985.
“The CPA’s Board of Directors, management and staff would all like to extend their best wishes to Ms. Borja in all her future endeavors. She will be greatly missed,” the agency said in a statement.
