Mau Fatuul Classic canoe race today
The 5th Annual Mau Fatuul Classic Championship canoe race, sponsored by the NMI Canoe Federation, will be held at the Kilili Beach today beginning at 8am and concluding at 3pm.
The community is invited to come and see the race. If you are interested in participating in this event, the NMI Canoe Federation Officials will be present to assist. For any information, contact Sid Ogarto at 236-8718 or Frank Mettao at 664-2601.
Sailing clinic tomorrow
The Over The Reef Yacht Club will be sponsoring a learn-to-sail clinic tomorrow, May 30, behind the Dai-Ichi Hotel Saipan Beach in Garapan.
This will be the first in a three-part series aimed at providing individuals interested in sailing with an opportunity to try their hand at the helm of a Hobie cat.
There will be a one-time registration fee of $10 that will cover the entire three-part series. Registration for the clinic will begin at 8:30am, with the actual instructional session to start at 9am.

Motocross tomorrow
The Marianas Racing Association, with Miller Lite and Pepsi, will be host the 2004 Motocross Race Series tomorrow, May 30, at the Cowtown Raceway Park, in the final event to take place on the track.

Marianas Softball Cup comes back
The 2nd Annual Miller Lite Marianas Softball Cup kicks off on June 4 with teams slugging it our for the $500 first-place cash prize and the honor of representing the Saipan in the final tournament featuring champion teams from Guam, Tinian and Rota..
The teams will be limited to a maximum of 15 players and a female must be on the field at all times in the modified coed tourney.
In addition, there will also be a tournament meeting next Tuesday, June 1, to be held in the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
