The Saipan Garment Manufacturers Association donated $800 to the CNMI Safe & Sober Foundation for the “Buckle-Up America/Buckle-Up CNMI Program.”

The Safe & Sober Foundation has been coordinating with students from local high schools, the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps and Public Safety officials for safer CNMI roadways.

Luisa Quitugua and Moses Fejeran of the SGMA Resident Managers Committee presented the Safe & Sober Foundation contingency a check during the Northern Marianas Alliance for Safety and Health training exercise at Dai-Ichi Hotel held on May 21, 2004.

NMASH also supports recently re-introduced legislation to limit the amount of windshield tinting in all vehicles on CNMI roadways as another move to make CNMI roads safer for pedestrians.
