The San Vicente Elementary School played host to hundreds of people last Friday night as they celebrated the school’s Family Night at the school grounds.

The event was held in honor of past and present members of the school’s community and in celebration of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. It was also a reunion among students, parents, teachers, community members and past school administrators, as well as administrators of the Public School System.

“We are blessed by cooperative parents and community,” said SVES principal Janet C. Villagomez. “The event is very meaningful for all the families and former administrators, and I thank the entire community for helping making this a successful event. It takes a community to educate a child.”

The event featured also featured live entertainment, courtesy of visiting performers and various musical and dancing performances by all grade levels at the school and a play promoting a healthy environment. Vendors were also present to provide drinks and food.

Past administrators were also recognized and presented with plaques of appreciation.
