LAST DAY TODAY FOR MHS BOOK FAIR

The Marianas High School’s National Honor Society Chapter is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair that will run until today. The fair is being held at the MHS campus in room C103 (Distance Learning Room) during break time (10:05-10:30am), lunchtime (12:10-1:10pm) and after school (2:45-3:30pm).

Books from all reading levels are on sale. Cash and major credit cards are accepted (Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express).

NMC SUMMER REGISTRATION SET

Registration for the Northern Marianas College’s Summer 2004 First and Regular Season classes continue through Monday, May 24. No late fee will be charged.

Second session registration ends on July 2, with late registration ending on July 7,. For more information about this matter, call Doris Aldan-Atalig at 234-5498, Ext. 1524.

Individuals wanting to take the English Placement test should call Thom Colton at 234-5498, Ext. 2000. Individuals wanting to take a Math Placement test should contact Glenn Keaton at Ext. 1200.

SSHS CULTURAL DAY SET

The Saipan Southern High School is inviting the public to its 2nd Annual Cultural Day to experience the European Gala on Saturday, May 22, 9am to 3pm, at the SSHS campus

All the booths and exhibits will depict the Spanish and German era in the CNMI.

“Be ready to be taken back in time! Bring the entire family, tell your neighbors, tell everyone!” the school said in a statement. “You don’t want to miss this one!”

DES CULTURAL DAY SET

The Dandan Elementary School will be holding its Cultural Day on Saturday, May 22, from 8:30am to 3pm. The event, called Celebration of Cultures, will have as its theme “Different Colors–One People.”

A raffle ticket drawing for prizes will be held.

SCS YARD SALE ON MAY 22

The Saipan Community School us having its yearly yard sale on Saturday, May 22, on Beach Road in Susupe from 8am to 12 noon.

WSR REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

William S. Reyes Elementary School is announcing its registration schedule for school year 2004-2005. Incoming students must register on June 14–25.

OUTRIGGER RACING SERIES ONGOING

The Marianas Interscholastic Sports Association Outrigger Racing Series will continue every Saturday until May 29. The event is open to the public and will be a great opportunity for everyone to share in the culture and competition.
