Man arrested for disturbing the peace
A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged for allegedly disturbing the peace at the Maganda Utang store in Garapan last Sunday afternoon.
Police report indicated that the suspect, Aurelio A. Billedo, had been drinking at a nearby house and was intoxicated. He allegedly went to the store and was met by the victim, 48-year-old female Isabelita C. Pagaduan.
The report showed that Billedo shouted profanities and threatened that he will hurt or kill someone. The victim walked away and was about to close her door when the suspect threw a plastic bucket at her, hitting her on her wrist. The victim sustained a minor cut on her right wrist.
Police were notified at 4:17pm. The suspect was arrested at the site and brought to the Adult Correctional Facility.
Dog bites woman
A 39-year old female sustained minor injuries last Saturday after she was bitten by a dog in Dandan.
Police report showed that the victim was walking by a house not far from the Suave BBQ stand when she was attacked by a dog. The dog bit her on her right thigh, resulting in punctured wounds and bruising.
Police were notified of the incident at 10:32pm and medics were scene to treat the victim.
Department of Public Safety public information officer Sgt. Thomas A. Blas Jr. said the department advises all pet owners to ensure that their pets are secured in a cage or leashed for the safety of others. Residents with gates are also urged to keep gate doors closed for the same reason.
