SAIPANCELL Communications announced today that it has created an end-to-end solution that bridges the gap between e-tail and retail. The company’s new store, which opened Monday, May 17, is located next to Pizza Hut on Middle Road. The new store demonstrates the future of wireless retail through an exciting mix of interactive technology, architecture, and display fixtures.

The futuristic store architecture creates an inviting gallery-style atmosphere. A 40” interactive plasma screen and a state-of-the-art interactive column complete with four Internet-enabled stations are just two of the focal points of the new store.

The Internet-enabled stations integrated into the interactive columns allow customers to access a complete array of product information. This includes rate plans, coverage areas, wireless phones, accessories, pagers and long distance services. The stations will entertain and allow customers to have self-directed sessions to learn more about SAIPANCELL Communications.

The store also features a live phone display. This display allows customers to test each phone the company sells to help them determine the best phone for their needs. Customers can access and try out all of the features of each phone, such as ring tones, screen styles and voice quality.

“This new approach to retail shopping is a significant improvement to our customer service,” said Kevin Seeker, director of marketing for SAIPANCELL Communications. “The technology will provide customers with an enhanced experience that makes shopping fun and more simple than ever before.”

The public will have a firsthand opportunity to experience this new shopping concept during the grand opening at SAIPANCELL’s new Gualo Rai Middle Road store next to Pizza Hut.

According to Seeker, the grand opening “will be a major event complete with discounts on wireless phones, free food and refreshments, drawings for special prizes every hour, balloons for the kids, plus a special guest appearance by Cell Boy, the company’s mascot.”

Established in 1992 with only five employees, it is now one of the leading providers for telecommunications services. SAIPANCELL Communications is known for its global communications solution in wireless, paging and long distance.
