4 teams debut in Joeten caging tonight
Construction and Material Supply and three other teams will debut in the resumption of the 3rd Annual Joeten Group of Companies Basketball Tournament tonight at the CMS Court in Gualo Rai.
Last year’s runner-up team will play in the 6:30pm curtain raiser against Joeten Motors, while Ace Hardware will do battle with JCT in the 8pm nightcap.
CMS is expected to bank on the savvy play of veteran point guard Orly Catayong and the inside strength of power forward Randy Laitan. Joeten Motors, for its part, will rely on forward Jerry Benevente and former national player Felix Palacios.
In the second game, power forward Raul Doria and Warren Villegas will spearhead JCT’s campaign against Ace Hardware, which will be bannered by Jason Sablan and center Boy Sadiri.
