Volleyball tournament set

There will be a four man volleyball tournament on Tinian starting May 3 from 3pm to 6:30pm and May 4 from 3pm to 6:30pm at the Tinian Gymnasium.

Entrance is free. The event is sponsored by the Tinian Amateur Volleyball Association as a part of the Tinian Fiesta Entertainment which is happening this weekend.

Tinian is looking for two or more good teams. For more information, contact Elsa Duenas (SAVA President) at 236-9865 or Jonas Barcinas (Treasurer) at 664-3025. All teams must confirm by Wednesday, May 2nd.

At the same time, there will be an important meeting for all members of the Saipan Amateur Volleyball Association tomorrow at 6pm at the Ada Gym.

Agenda include the preparation for the 2002 Micronesian Games. All members and interested young, strong and highly motivated athletes (both men and women) are urged to attend the meeting.
