Sunday Little League Fielders steal victory from Hustlers

Hustlers were leading 3-2 in the 4th inning but the Fielders rallied for 5 runs in the 5th inning to seal the game by a score of 7-3.
Emery Cruz blasted a double in that inning knocking in 2 runs while striking out 10 batters on the mound. Nick Reyes and Leonard Deleon Guerrero both with 2 hits in the losing side.
In the second game, the Tanapag Braves scored 5 runs in the first, 5 more in the second and 3 more in the third inning as the Braves ran over the Toyota/Torres Cruisers 13-1 in a ten run mercy rule. C.J. Atalig had a double and scored the lone run for the Cruisers.
On the same day at the Palacios field, the Saipan Jets defeated the Tanapag Braves 17-12 in the Junior League Division as Aldebert Santos had 3 hits, scored 3 times, Steve Cruz, Derek Mag-Atas and Matt Kintol all with 2 runs a piece in the winning side.
Sylvester Tomokane had 2 hits, scored twice, Angel Falig with 2 hits and a run, Shawn Pua knocked in 2 runs and Jordan Suel with 2 runs in the losing side. In the final game of the day in the Senior League Division, the Pirates behind the strong pitching performance of Jonathan Camacho’s 6 hits, struck out 5, walked 2 batters.
B.J. Sablan and Chris Salas 2 hits a piece lift the Pirates to a come back in the fifth inning by edging the Comets 4-3 in a thrilling and exciting one. Johnty Jones had 2 hits, scored 2 times and Jessie Aguon who was very impressive behind the plate by gunning down 3 base runners trying to advance also with 2 hits in the losing side.
Big League Division
Jonathan Jones gave up 8 hits, walked 3, struck out 11 batters, blasted a triple and knocked in a run. Jimmy the “smiling” Aliksa had a 3 hits including a triple and a run and Timo Mafnas had 2 hits including a triple and 1 RBI as the San Roque-Tanapag Expos defeated the San Vicente Starz 9-7 in a packed crowd. Dexter Palacios had 2 hits with 2 runs scored, Tony Benavente, Rudy Sablan and Mark Moses all with 2 hits a piece in the losing effort.
