A Chinese lady fell on her bottom inside the Treasure Island Poker Monday afternoon when she slipped into a carpet-free floor apparently with freshly-applied glue, police reported.

According to Department of Public Safety spokesperson Cecil Celes, 33-year-old Qi Yu Li hurt her back as a result of the accident inside the Western Garapan poker room.

Reports said that after a game of poker, Ms. Li proceeded to the cashier to convert her game coins to dollar bills when she slid on the floor that was supposed to be covered with carpet.

Management was apparently conducting maintenance cleaning at the time the incident occurred.

The victim was transported to the Commonwealth Health Center for minor injuries after DPS medics and rescue team found her at the scene apparently in pain. (MM)
