SML season kicks off on February 2

The Saipan Major League Baseball Association would like to inform all managers/coaches and other interested teams for the 2001 SML season that the league is scheduled to open on Feb. 2, 2001.

The league is open to the first eight teams on a first-come first-serve basis. Entry fee of $1,200.00, and a 25-man team roster is due between now and February.

SMLBA president Tom Pangelinan is therefore urging teams to start securing sponsors so that entry fee and ordering of uniforms can be processed immediately. An organizational meeting will be held after the closing of the ongoing SML Summer League Championships
