Former Department of Public Safety Deputy Commissioner Lino Tenorio yesterday pled not guilty to charges of oral copulation and rape before the Superior Court.

Mr. Tenorio has been released in the custody of his mother on a $25,000 unsecured bond.

The former DPS official was accused of raping his 27-year-old stepdaughter in their Dandan residence on Nov. 8, 2000.

According to a police report, the victim was sleeping when she suddenly woke up and felt Mr. Tenorio on top of her, kissing her body and forcing himself to her.

Before the incident, the victim joined a drinking session with friends of the family in her stepfather’s residence. Mr. Tenorio later on arrived from fishing at around 8:00 p.m. and joined the group while the victim went to sleep.

A few hours after, the victim said she was sexually attacked by her stepfather.
