Ex-DPS official accused of rape

Former Department of Public Safety Deputy Commissioner for Operations Lino Tenorio was accused yesterday of raping his 27-year-old stepdaughter.

Based on a police report, Mr. Tenorio attacked his stepdaughter while the she was sleeping at the suspect’s house in Dandan. The victim told investigators that she suddenly woke up when she felt Mr. Tenorio on top of her, kissing her body and forcing himself to her.

Before the incident, the victim was having a drinking session with her friends in her stepfather’s residence when the former police official arrived at around 8:00 p.m. from fishing. He joined the group in drinking and even exchanged jokes.

However, according to the victim, a few hours after she went to bed Mr. Tenorio sexually attacked her while she was in sleep.

The victim said she drove to the Commonwealth Health Center after the alleged rape took place to have herself examined by doctors.
