1st Game: MBI/Doritos 74, Team Y 60

Thursday night curtain raiser was between Team Doritos and Team Y. Romy Grimpula led Doritos with 22 points, 1 assist, 1 blocked shot, 8 rebounds, and a steal while teammate Roger Valencia had 16 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.

Collin Thompson was the leading scorer for Team Y with 24 points, 1 assist, 3 blocked shots, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. Greg Koebel contributed 10 points, 3 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals in a losing cause.

2nd Game: NMC Fakpi 63, Old Aces 43

NMC defeated Old Aces 63-43 in the second game. Lloyd Hartman poured in 21 points, 5 assists, 2 blocked shots, 3 steals and 20 rebounds, while Ray Basa also helped out with 12 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. NMC came ready for the game and they were converting their shots.

Old Aces was led by Tony “Gomez” Lizama with 14 points, 2 assists, 3 rebounds, and 4 steals, while Dave Camacho also contributed 12 points, 1 steal, and 10 rebounds in a losing cause.
